Meeting Called by: Thinners Club
Date: Apr 9th, 2010
Attendees: Gayathri, Meena, Shanthi, Sumithra
This was an impromptu meeting called by the Thinners Club to have “Dairy Milk Silk – Fruits & Nuts”.
The idea was initiated by Gayathri. The treasurer, Sumithra, suggested that four of us can share the expenses. This was approved by the SPOC, Meena immediately.
Funds were collected and Shanthi took the responsibility of going to Mcrennett and get the Dairy Milk. Though the price exceeded the budget, it was approved by the members.
Had a nice time with Dairy Milk Silk and with usual chit-chats!!

ReplyDeleteSumitra is the CFO; board of members comprises the rest. And Nancy and Sheeja are external supporters! The board has also decided to do this more often because it is found that the productivity and energy that this yields has far reaching benefits over the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI completly agree with u Gai..The only missing memeber from the III floor was Prema. Request her to give attendance atleast once in a while, to keep her membreship from expiring.
ReplyDeleteWell, also to ease Prema back into the thinners club, in cases where items such as chocolates will cost her health, she can involve herself by participating in the funding activity alone. The club provides waiver for such valid reasons.
ReplyDeleteWould the CEO please clarify if the account would be temporarily supended until such time?
Considering her previous contributions and this being her first absence, she's given a waiver. If this continues for a long period of time, the board members would meet to decide the further course of action.
ReplyDeleteHey you people forgot us the lesser 1st floor mortals. Not fair. Ok agreed that Ramya is a part of this club inspite of having no qualifications to vouch for it and may not mind being omitted from such impromptu meetings. I take severe offence to not being asked to participate and hope Shweta and Rashmi also voice their concerns.

Sorry Deepa. We didn't mean to offend anyone. It just happened. I assure that everyone would be called for the next impromptu party/meeting.

LOL!!! Deepa, as you will agree, the thought of having something interesting within the next few minutes just blocks your thinking. We'll do it again--soon--with the larger crowd. Cheers for your big bar of chocolate, alone...!
